ObjectivesThe purposes of the reseach was to observe the relationship between the placental expressions of Bax and Bcl-2 proteins and the pathogenesis of preeclampsia Materials and Methods65 pregnant samples with similar age and gestational weeks in our were divided into three groups:23 patients with moderate preeclampsia,18 patients with severe preeclampsia and 24 normal pregnancy. The expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins in 65 placentas were detected by immunohistochemical methods.Results1 The positive degree of Bax expression in the placenta of moderate and severe preeclampsia were significantly higher than the control group (p<0.05);there was remarkable difference between the three groups. With the development of the disease, The expressions of Bax were increased.2 The positive degree of Bcl-2 expression in the placenta of moderate and severe preeclampsia were significantly lower than the control group (p<0.05);there was remarkable difference between the three groups. With the development of the disease, the expressions of Bcl-2 were depressed.Conclusions1 The positive degree of Bax expression in the placenta of moderate and severe preeclampsia were significantly higher than the control group;there was remarkable difference between the three groups. With the development of the disease, The expressions of Bax were increased.2 It was considered that the apoptosis of placental trophoblastic cells induced by the decreased expression of Bcl-2 may play an important role in the pathophysiologic mechanism of preeclampsia.3 The Bax and bcl-2 in placenta was sure to participate in the apoptosis of placenta in directly. The change of Bax,Bcl-2 expression was sure to relate to the severity of preeclampsia.
