Clinical Observation Of Eye Acupuncture Rehabilitation Therapy In The Treatment Of Shoulder-hand Syndrome After Ischemic Stroke

Purpose:To observe the clinical effect of eye-acupuncture combined with rehabilitation treatment in post stroke shoulder-hand syndrome.Material and method:Data in this study were collected from 60 patients with post stroke shoulder-hand syndrome(stage I)and were admitted to the K2 Department of Encephalopathy in the Rehabilitation Center of Liaoning Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2019 to September 2020.According to the principle of randomized control,the 60 patients were divided into the experimental group and the control group according to the order of treatment,with 30 patients in each group.Both groups received basic treatment including routine drug therapy and routine rehabilitation training.The experimental group applied eye-acupuncture combined with rehabilitation treatment,which means that the patients will do the routine rehabilitation training with the embedded eye-acupuncture in the corresponding acupoint ares.While the Control group applied Body acupuncture therapy.The treatment course was 2 weeks,with 5 consecutive days of treatment followed by 2 days of rest each week.The Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA),Barthel Index(BI),visual analogue scale(VAS)and the effective rate were respectively recorded for both groups.Statistical software SPSS 26.0 was used to conduct statistical analysis.Results:1.Basic information(age,gender,course of disease),Fugl-Meyer motor function score,Barthel score of daily living ability,visual analog scale(VAS)score of patients in the two groups was the same(P>0.05),with comparability.2.After treatment,there were statistically significant differences in Fugl-Meyer score,Barthel score and visual analog scale(VAS)between the two groups(P<0.05).3.The experimental group had advantages in improving Fugl-Meyer score,Barthel score and visual analog scale(VAS),and the difference was statistically significant compared with the control group(P<0.05).4.The apparent efficiency of the experimental group was 33.33%,and the total effective rate was 86.66%;The clinical efficacy of the control group was 20.00%,and the total effective rate was 80.00%.The apparent efficiency between the two groups had significant statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both eye-acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy and body acupuncture therapy can improve Fugl-Meyer score and Barthel score of patients with post-stroke Shoulder Hand Syndrome,and reduce their VAS score.2.Compared with body acupuncture,eye-acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy can more effectively improve the Fugl-Meyer score and Barthel score of patients with ischemic post-stroke Shoulder Hand Syndrome,as well as reduce their VAS score.3.Eye-acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy has higher Clinical effective rate than body acupuncture therapy in the treatment of ischemic post-stroke Shoulder Hand Syndrome.
