Objective: The warm needle moxibustion,as one of the methods of moxibustion therapy, shares the advantages of both acupuncture and moxibustion, with wide clinical indications and significant curative effect, uncostly and convenient, and incurs less adverse reactions;ear acupuncture,as a non-drug treatment therapy, can be applied in a broad range of diagnosis and treatment, and is easy to operate and with certain curative effect,therefore,well-welcomed by among the patients. The aim of this paper is to provide evidence-based medical theory for post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome treated with acupuncturemoxibustion therapy combined with ear acupuncture by comparatively studying the clinical effects of warm needle moxibustion combined with ear acupuncture vs.warm needle moxibustion only in the treatment of post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome. Methods: All of 90 patients whose conditions were in accordance with the inclusion criteria shoulder-hand syndrome were selected from those who had been in the TCM department and outpatient and inpatient of the Rehabilitation Medicine Department in Hanting People’s Hospital between January 2016 and August 2016.Grouping with control for comparison was employed.A random number table(SAS statistical analysis system)was completed through simple randomization. All the patients were randomly divided into a combination therapy group and a warm needle moxibustion group, with 45 cases in each group.Conventional treatment and symptomatic treatment were applied in both groups.During the treatment, the side of the infusion was prevented from improper traction and extrusion to avoid damage from accidents. The warm needle moxibustion group which used the way of warm needle method; The combination therapy group that,on the basis of warm needle moxibustion treatment combined with auricular needle therapy. The treatment 10 times for 1 course, and a total of 2 courses of treatment.Indicators include that, the general data, pain index(VAS),upper limb mobility(FMA),overall treatment outcome, and daily living function(ADL)were analyzed statisticallyResults: As indicated by the analysis of the data of patients in both groups, there was no significant difference between the two groups in gender, age, course of the disease, type of the disease or stroke frequency(P >0.05).The result exhibited that, for the treatment of post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome, the combination therapy of warm needle moxibustion and ear acupuncture applied in the observation group was more significant clinical effect than the therapy adopted in the control group(P<0.05).The result exhibited that, for the treatment of post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome, the combination therapy of warm needle moxibustion and ear acupuncture applied in the observation group was with more significant clinical effect than the therapy adopted in the control group(P<0.05).The overall treatment results in the two groups showed: The statistical software analysis for the total effective rate showed, where the difference was statistically significant, and the result showed that the curative effect in the observation group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).The result exhibited that, for the treatment of post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome, the combination therapy of warm needle moxibustion and ear acupuncture applied in the observation group was more significant clinical effect than that the therapy adopted in the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion: Warm needle moxibustion combined with ear acupuncture in patients with upper limb pain index, joint activity, the overall treatment effect, treatment effect of daily life activity function obviously. |
