The Clinical Study Of Different Concentrate Ozone-oxyen Intraarticular Injection In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the effects of different concentration of ozone-oxyen and sodium hyaluronate intraarticular inject into knee osteoarthritis.Method:A total of 114 patients with with symptoms and radiographic evidence of unilateral knee OA were divided randomly into four groups.Group A twenty-six Patients,B twenty-eight Patients,C twenty-eight Patients all received the therapy twice a week with intraarticular injections of 40 ug/ml,30ug/ml and 20ug/ml ozone-oyxen 20ml。.Group D three-two Patients received five weekly intraarticular injections of Artzal into symptomatic knees. Verbal analogue scale(VAS),Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores(JOA),Western Ontario and McMaster Universities osteoarthritis index (WOMAC) and Berg balance scale (BBS) were used for the evaluation. Before intraarticular injections (T0),one week(T1),one month(T2),three month(T3),six month(T4) after intraarticular injections .Complications and adverse effects of the two treatments were also observed.Results: The VAS,JOA,WOMAC,BBS showed significantly satisfy difference between four group after the treatment 1 week,1,3,6 months post the injection compared with baseline before injection (P<0.05). And the scales showed significantly satistic difference with the dependence between four group after treatment 1 week,1,3months(P<0.05).The VAS and JOA showed significantly satistic difference between A,B groups and C,D groups at T1 and T2 times,and the VAS and JOA showed significantly satistic difference between A,B groups. The VAS and JOA showed significantly satistic difference between A,B,C groups and D groups at T4 times(P<0.05).the The WOMAC showed significantly satistic difference between A,B groups and C,D groups at T1 times(P<0.05). . The WOMAC showed significantly satistic difference between A,B,Dgroups and C groups at T4 times(P<0.05)。The VAS and WOMAC showed increased between four group after the treatment 6 months compared with 3 months post the injection(P<0.05),and they decreased between four group after the treatment 6 months compared with 3 months post the injection(P<0.05). The JOA and BBS showed decreased between four group after the treatment 6 months compared with 3 months post the injection(P<0.05),and they increased between four group after the treatment 6 months compared with 3 months post the injection(P<0.05) .There are no local adverse events were reported in B,C groups.There are four local adverse in A group and seven local adverse in Dgroup.Conclusion: Both of four groups therapies have positive effects on the treatment of knee osteoarthritis , but 30ug/ml ozone-oyxen therapy significantly more effective and safety.than other concentration ozone–oyxens and Artzal therapy before three month. But Artzal therapy significantly more effective.than ozone–oyxen at sixth month.
