The Study Of Chemical Composition Of The Grub

Objective:Bug class medicine plays an important part of the Chinese medicine. Early in the medicinal orthoptera root of Chinese magnoliavine was ranked just recorded in medicine classics, followed by such as compendium of materia medica, synopsis record, etc. In our country the resources of the Grub is abundant and mainly distributes in heilongjiang, jiangsu, anhui, Inner Mongolia, shaanxi, shandong, henan and other regions. Modern pharmacology experiment research proof the Grub has antibacterial, protect liver, antitumor effects and also has a profound medicinal basis and huge development potential. there is no explicit reported less about the chemical composition of relevant research from the Grub.This paper used Sephadex Silica Gel, Sephadex LH-20, RP-18, MCI column chromatography of such materials extraction separation orthoptera to study its chemical composition. Its further identify and its effective ingredients in order to give the supports to the exploitation of this medicine in-deepth.Methods:After crushing the Grub, It was extracted by 95% ethanol water three times. The ectracts was concentrated by a vacuum evaporator into a gross extract and was dissolved in fitting water, after that it was extracted by Petroleum ether,ethyl acetate,normal butanol. Then the part extracted by ethyl acetate was separated and purified by Silica gel,Sephadex LH-20,RP-18,MCI gel.Finally the structures of the compounds were identified through the methods of physical and chemical inspection and spectral techniques such as1H-NMR,13C-NMR,DEPT andcompared with the references.Results:There are 11 compounds were isolated from the Grub. They were identified as Cyclo(L--tyrosyl-L-proline)(1), N-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-ethyl] acetamide(2),3,5-Dimethoxy-4- hydroxyl-benzoic acid(3),3,5-Dimethoxy-4-hydroxylbenzoic acid(4), Salicylic acid(5),4-Hydroxybenzoic acid (6),3-Hydroxy-4-methoxybenzoic acid(7),4-Hydroxyphenylpropionic acid(8),1,2-Cyclohexane--diol(9), Salicin(10) and (9Z)-Glycerin-l-monooleate(11) by using spectroscopic methods.Conclusion:11 compounds were first isolated from the Grub, and both of them were cyclic peptides, Alkaloids, Phenols, fatty acids and glycosides. The traditional Chinese medicine for bug class of the Grub chemical constituents and pharmacological activities provide basis and experi--ment.
