Clinical Research On Dry Eye Treated With Combined Therapy Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Dry eye is the common ocular surface disease of ophthalmology clinical, the generalization of eye disease, which is caused by any possible tear quality and quantity or dynamic abnormal unstable tear-film with unsuitable ocular region symptoms(eg. Eye dryness, photophobia, foreign body sensation and asthenopia). According to the changing living environment, there is an increasing percent of dry eye incidence rate without useful cure technique. The summary of dry eye pathogeny, diagnosis and research process of treatment with clinical experience is discussed by us based on the traditional chinese medicine composite treatment.Objective:Observe the traditional Chinese medicine composite treatment to cure Dry Eye clinical curative effect, and make objective evaluation.Method:Observer the dry eye patient between 18 to 70 years old, adopt randomly, parallelly, contrastive clinical research ways. And divide into Runmuling group, TCM composite treatment group and Contraposed Tears NaturalⅡgroup for observing the subjective symptoms, Break-up time of tears(BUT), Schirmer I test(SIT), cornea fluorescent pigmentation(FL), then focus on the statistic analysis between cure-before and cure-after, and compare the cure effect, and observe the clinical curative effect with the traditional Chinese medicine composite treatment for Dry Eye.Result:It is proved that there is statistical difference between the before and after treatment with Runmuling group, TCM composite treatment group and Tears Natural II group in BUT,SIT,FL and clinical symptoms. The group contrast:TCM composite treatment group and Runmuling group is better than Tears NaturalⅡgroup on improving symptom integration, increasing BUT,SIT. And TCM composite treatment group is better than Runmuling group on increaseing the BUT. There is not necessary for the statistic analysis on improving FL between each other.Conclusion:TCM comprehensive treatment is preferable on curing the Dry Eye.
