Observe The Efficacy Of Closed Reduction And Improved External Fixation Brace To Treat The Distal Radius Fracture

Objective:The research was observed the clinical efficacy by using closed reduction and external fixation brace to treat the distal radius fractures,compared with the effiency of ORIF. Discuss the feasibility and effectiveness.Methods:According to the order of the patients which want to treat in Orthopaedic deparment of MinDong Hospital,divided the patients(60) into two groups (A and B),according to the random number table.Group A was treated by closed reduction and external fixation brace,and group B received ORIF.Take the X-ray films(the wrist anteroposterior and lateral film) before treatment,the first day,first week and month,the third month,sixth month after the treatment,measured two groups of the Volar tilt,Radial inclination and Radial length,and According the X-ray show and fracture healling circumstances to guide the patients with functional exercises.Remove the brace after the healling fracture reach the clinical efficiency,made a standard to evaluate the Volar tilt,Radial inclination and Radial length according to Shen Yi xin standard;Evaluate the wrist function by Dienst assessed standard,and finally the datas were statistical analysised by SPSS 13.0.Results:After following-up 6 to 10 months,bone union,Group A:comprehensive assessment of the Volar tilt,Radial inclination and Radial length:excellent in 12 cases,good in 15 cases,fair in 3 cases and poor in 0 cases,the fine rate was 90.00%,wrist function score:excellent in 10 cases,good in 16 cases, fair in 4 cases and poor in 0 cases,good rate of 80.00%;Group B:comprehensive assessment of the Volar tilt,Radial inclination and Radial length:excellent in 18 cases,good in 12 cases,paie in 0 case and poor in 0 case,the fine rate was 86.67%,wrist function score:excellent in 7 cases,good in 16 cases,pair in 6 cases and poor in 1 case,good rate 86.67%.Conclusions:Closed reduction and improved external fixation brace to treat the distal radius fracture is the simple operation,fixed firmly,good clinical results,lower cost, it is worth to applicate and promote in the clinical.
