Clinical Research Of Children's Acute Tonsillitis (Excessive Heat Disease Of Lung And Stomach) With Xiaoe Decoction

Objective: The purpose of this task is to observe children′s acute tonsillitis matching excessive heat disease of lung and stomach in TCM used by the treatment with Xiaoe decoction in order to determine the efficacy of Chinese medicine. Methods: 100 infants with children′s acute tonsillitis matching excessive heat disease of lung and stomach were divided into 2 groups randomly, the study group and the control group. Both of them were treated for 5 days. The infants in the study group were treated with Xiaoe decoction and that in the control group were treated with Qing Jiang tablet.The symptoms and signs of the infants were observed before and after the treatments and the data must be processed using statistics. Results: In the main symptoms and signs of improvement and total efficiency, the treatment group is better than the control group, and there are statistically significance. Conclusion: This shows that children′s acute tonsillitis matching excessive heat disease of lung and stomach in TCM used by the treatment with Xiaoe decoction is effective,low-cost, and less side effect. Also it is worth promoting treatment.
