Electro-Nape Acupuncture And Donepezil Due To Vascular Cognitive Impairment After Cerebral Infarction Clinical Research

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of combination of electro-nape acupuncture and donepezil in treating vascular cognitive impairment after cerebral infarction on cognitive function.evaluate the clinical effect and safety of combination of electro-nape acupuncture and donepezil in treating vascular cognitive impairment,in order to provide an objective basis for clinical application.Methods:The study involved 60 cases of VCI patients who were divided into an acupuncture-medication group and a medication group,there were 30 cases in each group.The two groups would base on the normal treatment with drugs,and the acupuncture-medication group would add the combination of electro-nape acupuncture and donepezil treatment,and the medication group would add mainly the donepezil treatment. Acupuncture-medication group acupuncture one time every day and there was one day break after 6 days treatment,then another round of treatment will begin.MMSE Scale and MoCA Scale of two groups were assessed before treatment and three months after treatment,compared in the interior group and inter-group.Results:1.The assessed results of MMSE Scale and MoCA Scale,after treatment the acupuncture-medication group and the medication group were both significantly different from before and two groups (P<0.05)2.In comparison of MoCA Scale chief subitems,after treatment the acupuncture-medication group and the medication group were both significantly different from before and two groups (P< 0.05)Conclusion: Among the two solutions electro-nape acupuncture plus medication is the best in the treatment of vascular cognitive impairment,improve the Scales and make cognition better than the medication group.
