The Effect On The Content Of 5-HT,5-HIAA,NE,IL-1β In The Insomnia Rats' Brains Caused By Electro-Nape-Acupuncture

Objective:To observe the effect of electro-nape-acupuncture on insomnia rats and probe into the mechanism of electro-nape-acupuncture on the sleep of rats.Provide referred theoretical basis and objective underlies for adopting the electro-nape-acupuncture therapy treats insomnia in clinic.Method:Duplicate insonmia model on rats by means of PCPA abdominal injection.Take electro-nape-acupuncture as therapy method while tianmeng were taken by control group.Select the content of 5-HT,5-HIAA, NE,IL-1βin the brain of rats as observing standards.Result:1.After PCPA abdominal injection the normal sleep of rats disappeared,at the same time,the content of 5-HT and 5-HIAA in the brain of rats decreased with comparison to normal group(P<0.05,P<0.01),the content of NE increased with comparison to normal,but the content of IL-1βdid not change much compared with normal group.2.After tianmeng,the content of 5-HT,5-HIAA,IL-1βin the brain of insomnia rats had no obvious change,but the content of NE decreased.3.After electro-nape-acupuncture treatment the content of 5-HT and 5-HIAA increased in contrast with model group(P<0.01,P<0.01),the content of IL-1βincreased greatly with comparison to normal group(P<0.05).And the content of NE decreased greatly compared with model group.Conclusion:Electro-nape-acupuncture is superior to tianmeng in the treatment of insomnia rats due to its good regulation in sleep, neurotrasmitters and immune cytokine.In general,Electro-nape-acupuncture therapy is an effective method in the treatment of insomnia.It has good adjustment on nervous and immune system in the body of the insomnia.This will afford objective theoretical evidence to the clinical treatment of insomnia.
