The Clinic Research Of Defecation Disorder At Acute Stage After Stroke Treated By Electroacupuncture Combine With Kegel Exercises

In this study, treat defecation disorder at acute stage after stroke by electroacupuncture combine with Kegel exercises, and use the major clinical symptoms and self-rating psychological symptoms scale as the observation target, to evaluate the effct of this treatment for defecation disorder at acute stage after stroke,then not only to find a best way for the constipation,to provide treatment for the constipated patients with BrunstromⅠ-Ⅱ,but also to prevente the s secondary stroke.Methods: 42 patients at acute stage after stroke suffered constipation were randomly divided into two grops:the treatment group(treated by electroacupuncture combine with Kegel exercises) of 20 cases and the control group (treated by oral CongRong Tong Bian)of 22 patients. 3 weeks were a course, and in general, the patients received 2 courses of treatment. Comparing the major clinical symptoms and self-rating psychological symptoms scale before and after the treatment.Results:1. After treating for 2 courses, treatment group:2 cases were cured,7 cases were effective,7 cases were better and 4 cases were invalid, and the total efficiency was 80%; control group:2 cases were cured,4 cases were effective,7 cases were better and 9 cases were invalid, and the total efficiency was 59%. Two groups after treatment efficacy had statistics difference.2. There were significant statistics differences between the two groups in some major clinic symptoms(including spontaneous defecation, defecation interval time, awareness of defecation, effort of defecation, time of defecation, abdominal distension, the pain of abdominal, exhaust poor and et al). For the aspect of stool property, they were the same effect.3. To awareness of anal obstruction, both two methods turned to be invalid.4. There were significant statistics differences in self-rating psychological symptoms scale.Conclusions:Treating constipation at acute stage after stroke by electroacupuncture combine with Kegel exercises is effective and security, and it is better than the control group with some symptoms.
