Clinical Observation Of Local Electroacupuncture Combined With Pharyngeal And Genioglossal Exercises In Improving The Nighttime Ventilation Of Patients With OSAHS

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of local electroacup-uncture combined with pharyngeal and genioglossal exercises in improving the nighttime ventilation of patients with OSAHS,and to provide a new idea and method for the treatment of this disease.Methods:30 patients with standard OSAHS were randomized to the treatment group(n=15)and control group(n=15).The treatment group was treated with local electro acupuncture combined with pharyngeal and genioglossal exercises.The selection was as follows:Lianquan,outer Jinjin Yuye,outer Jinjin Yuye connected with electric-ity,the waveform chooses the intermittent wave,the frequency is 80Hz,pulse width of 0.5ms,intermittent ratio isl:1,and take the pha-ryngeal and genioglossal exercises after the acupuncture.The control group was treated with traditional acupuncture,the points:Baihui,Shuigou,Zusanli,Hegu,Sanyinjiao,Fenglong,Lieque,Chize,Taiyuan,wi-thout the electric needle.Two groups were treated once a day for 30min,1 week for a course of treatment continuous treatment of 4 courses.From the polysomnography(PSG),the apnea hypopnea index(AHI),the lowest oxygen saturation(LSao2)and the ESS score were selected before and after the treatment to evaluate the efficacy.At the end of the treatment,SPSS 17.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis.Results:1.After the treatment,the AHI index was significantly lower than that before(P<0.01),the differences were statistically significan-t.And the local electroacupuncture combined with pharyngeal and genioglossal exercises group was superior to the traditional acupu-ncture group(P<0.05).2.After the treatment,the LSao2 was significantly higher than that before(P<0.01),the differences were statistically significan-t.And the local electroacupuncture combined with pharyngeal and genioglossal exercises group was superior to the traditional acupun-cture group(P<0.05).3.After the treatment,the ESS score was significantly lower than that before(P<0.01),the differences were statistically significant.And the local electroacupuncture combined with pharyngeal and genioglo-ssal exercises group was superior to the traditional acupuncture group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Local electro acupuncture combined with pharyngeal and genioglossal exercises can effectively improve the degree of respiratory disturbance and hypoxia in patients with sleep.2.Local electro acupuncture combined with pharyngeal and genioglossal exercises can effectively improve the patients sleepines-s during the day.3.Local electroacupuncture combined with pharyngeal and genioglossal exercises and traditional acupuncture therapy for OSAHS patients have a certain clinical efficacy,and the treatment group was superior to the control group.
