The Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture In Ovulation

Objective:By observation the clinical effect of acupuncture in ovulation, explore the mechanism, and find out a safe, efficient and economic the way to ovulate, finally improve clinical pregnancy rate and reduce the side effects of drugs and iatrogenic disease, exuberance the advantage and connotation of infertility treatment by TCM.Methods:92 cases of anovulatory infertility were divided into four treatment groups:Group A,22 cases,48 cycles, treated by decoction. Group B,20 cases,50 cycles, treated by decoction and HCG Group C,2Ocases,54 cycles, treated by decoction and acupuncture. Group D,30 cases,52 cycles, treated by decoction and HCG. Group C 30 cases,52 cycles, treated by decoction and acupuncture. Observe the four groups in ovulated rate, the estrogen (E2) and the progesterone (P)with 7 days after ovulation, the incidence of LUFS, OHSS, clinical pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy.etc.Results:(1)comparison of ovulation between four groups:ovulation of group A has 26 cycles, the ovulation rate is 54.17%; Group B has 37 cycles, the ovulation rate is 74.00%; Group C has 43 cycles, the ovulation rate is 79.63%; Group D has 47 cycles, the ovulation rate is 90.38%. Group B, C, D compared with group A respectively,has statistically significant difference (P<0.05).The ovulation rates of Group D is higher than that of Group B(P<0.05),There were no statistical differences among Group B, C and Group C,D (P>0.05).and between the group B, C, D,there is no statistically significant (P>0.05). (2) comparison of the serum E2 and P with 7 days after intervening ovulation:Group B, C, D compared with group A respectively,has statistically significant difference (P<0.05), and between the group B, C, D,there is no statistically significant (P>0.05). (3) Comparison of the outcome between four groups after treatment:the clinical pregnancy of group A has 6 (27.27%) cases, ectopic pregnancy has 0 (0%) case, biochemical pregnancy has 0 (0%) case; the clinical pregnancy of group B has 12 (60.00%)cases, ectopic pregnancy has 1 (5%) cases, biochemical pregnancy has 1 (5%) cases; the clinical pregnancy of group C has 14(70.00%) cases, ectopic pregnancy has 0 (0%) case, biochemical pregnancy has 0 (0%) case; the clinical pregnancy of group D has 25(83.33%)cases, ectopic pregnancy has 0 (0%) case, biochemical pregnancy has 0 (0%) case.On the rate of clinical pregnancy, Group B, C, D compared with group A respectively,has statistically significant difference (P<0.05), and between the group B, C, D,there is no statistically significant (P>0.05). On the rate of ectopic pregnancy and biochemical pregnancy, the four group has no statistically significant (P>0.05). (4) Comparison of the complication between four groups:LUFS of group A has 10 (20.83%) cycles.OHSS has 4 (8.33%) cycles, which are mild ones.There is no moderate or several OHSS happen; LUFS of group B has 12 (24.00%) cycles.OHSS has 9 (18.00%) cycles. Among them, there are 8 (16.00%) mild ones and 1 (2%) several one. There is no moderate OHSS happen; LUFS of group C has 10 (18.52%) cycles.OHSS has 3 (5.56%) cycles, which are mild ones.There is no moderate or several OHSS happen; LUFS of group D has 9 (15.38%) cycles.OHSS has7 (13.46%) cycles. Among them, there are 6 (11.54%) mild ones and 1 (2%) moderate one. There is no several OHSS happen; On the mild OHSS, Group C compared with group B has statistically significant difference (P< 0.05), and between the other three groups,there is no statistically significant (P>0.05).On the moderate, several OHSS and LUFS, the four groups has no statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture can improve the ovulation rate effectively; Improve the serum E2, P level of luteal phase, reduce the incidence of LPD;Improve the pregnancy rate.It also can make up for high ovulation rate but low pregnancy rate caused by western medicine; Reduce the incidence of complications, and make it safer.
