The Clincal Research Of Floating Knee Injuries

Objective:By means of the systematic analysis consulted 2741 cases in 76 literture and collected 13 cases, in order to further clarify the clinical features of fracture,the injury factors,differences in fracture site,diagnostic points,the complicated injury of fracture,the selection of treatment methods and preventions of the complication of the floating knee fracture. To evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the treatment methods, expected to find out the best treatment method,assess the prognsis of the floating knee fracture.Methods:Retrospect study 2741 cases in 76 literture and 13 clinical cases collected in 2000-2010,systemic analyze the average disease age,sex ratio,the injury factors,the mechanism of fractures,fracture site,fracture classification,the complication,therapeutic evaluation,the treatment methods and healing of the fractures. And through a comparative study between the two to definite the relevance between the the selection of treatment methods and disease age,gender,the injury factos,the mechanism of fractures,fracture classification,the complicated injury of fracture.Results:The average disease age,sex ratio,the injury factors,the fracture position,the ratio of open fracture,which have correlation with literture reported.Because of the small sample size, can not be fully compared with the literature research results and can not by statistical methods to evaluate which treatment methods is better to the floating knee fractures.And can not definite the relevance between the the selection of treatment methods,nonunion of femur and tibia fractures and disease age,the injury factors,the mechanism of fractures,fracture classification% the complicated injury of fracture.Conclusion:The floating knee fractures shoud be treated by operation.More frequent use of femur fratures fixation plate or intramedullary nail.Because tibial fractures are ofen open and the soft tissue injury are serious frequently,selecting plate,intramedullary nail or external fixation reasonablely is so important.The use of external fixation in tibial fractures is significant.
