Canine Demodicosis (D.Canis) is a disease that result from canine skin Demodex mite(D. Canis, Leydig,1859) abnormal proliferation under suitable conditions,it is a commonclinical comparison of stubborn skin disease。Along with our country economic levelincrease, people's way of life is also quietly changing in city, more and more people keeppets。Pet skin disease as the most common diseases in clinical PET, has a very highproportion in all diseases。As a result of treatment for a long time, high cost of treatment, tothe dog 's quality of life has a great influence, has been plagued by the pet owner。Especiallyin the hot and humid summer, can account for the clinically20%—30%in all cases。Demodicidosis as clinically common and important skin disease。In recent years,infectious disease prevention work done better in the comparison, results in its incidence in alldiseases in the proportion increased significantly。. At the same time, vermiform mite clinicalfeatures are similar with other types of skin diseases, it is easy to be misdiagnosed and delaythe disease. This thesis is mainly investigate demodicidosis in Xi'an area and found vermiformmite skin disease is mostly secondary to some other bacterial and fungal infections, to bringmuch inconvenience in the diagnose and treat. In addition, testing methods were found incontrast in the Demodex folliculorum commonly used, plucking on Demodex detection rate isrelatively high, better than the transparent adhesive tape method and scraping method.
