Horizontal metallic tank, which is widely applied in the oil storage and transportation of the petroleum, chemical industry, is a significantly important measuring instrument; its capacity measurement accuracy is related to not only the business management, cost accounting and economic interests, but also the economic interests and national measurement credibility of the country's foreign trade. Due to the horizontal metallic tank is widely used in various industries, ensuring its accuracy will be a focus object to the manufacturing enterprises and research institutions.According to current capacity measurement principle of horizontal metallic tank, the detection methods are compared. Based on the research of mobile pipe prover technology and related inspection technologies, a new testing method is put forward, which adopt mobile pipe prover to calibrate horizontal metallic tank and solve the problem that ground metallic tank cannot use geometric calibration method and need to use capacity table for internal accounting. The thesis consists of: the work principle and feasibility of horizontal metallic tank detection system, testing equipment selection, system test items and method, capacity calculation and capacity table establishment, the uncertainty analysis.Through the uncertainty analysis of mobile pipe prover horizontal metallic tank capacity measurement system, the influence factors of system measurement accuracy are confirmed, and using mobile pipe prover of 0.05% uncertainty as superior level standard have huge advantage in numerical value quantity transmission. The developed testing system has the characteristics of high accuracy, high repeatability, high stability and wide application scope, it also improve the detection efficiency, and reduce the labor intensity. As a complement to the volume test method of horizontal metal tank, which will provide users with reliable measuring and testing data, is of great academic value and practical significance.The detection system has test run at Guangdong measurement scientific research institute, the experimental results show that the horizontal metallic tank capacity measurement system based on mobile pipe prover as a complementary method for horizontal metallic tank capacity measurement is completely feasible, it has important practical value and promoting significance. |
