The Ecological Ethics Cities Color Design Research

As an important component of the visual language to convey the city image, the color has increasingly attracted much attention in recent years. However, in the current city planning and construction, more and less, a part of cities' color designs are not matching the inherent requirements of city development. There are three major issues. One of them is that "Follow the same pattern", lack of local characteristics. Secondly, "Good willing but bad result", cause negative effect, the implementation is not according to the initially planning. The last one is "vanity project", crave for things big and foreign, depart form the practical of city development.In order to find the solution for a series of problems appeared in color design of city construction, many scholars research this issue from different angles. But by the reasons of that the limitation of real condition and color design of city are complexity and diversity, they don't realize and solve the root of problems, especially the city color pollution. Only limited the known of the value from natural utilization, People don't realize and understand the nature's intrinsic value and natural power. The author thinks that the ecological environment problem's essence is the issue of the ethics and values. To solve the problem of city color pollution, it is necessary to introduce the ideas of ecological ethics to guide the color design in city planning and construction. In fact, Chinese traditional Confucianism contains the idea. Confucian advocates the ideology of "harmony", "love all the people and animals", provides a useful theoretical reference to solve the problem of the ecological environmental today. To examine the color design of city form the angle of ecology ethics, it is perhaps a effectively way to handle urban complexion involved in relations between man and nature in color design of city.In the current city planning and construction, as the capital of Hunan Province, Changsha City, and some of the other city, there are some city color design problems. In this paper, Changsha City building outdoor advertising, transportation and other aspects of the design are highlighted color pollution problem, in the analysis of the causes of the problem of the basis, from the perspective of ecological ethics put forward corresponding suggestion and strategy. But this hope is based on ecological ethics view of city color design made on Changsha City Color Design in terms of the number of theoretical discussion, capable of Changsha City color design problem solving benefit.
