Research On Humanism Of Bus Rapid Transit In Guangzhou

Based on the growing urbanization, the urban population is expanding rapidly, and the car ownership is increasing quickly. All these result in heavy traffic jam, environment pollution and administration problems in the urban traffic. In the mean time, the humanistic consciousness is from strength to strength. The ideas of sustainable development, livable environment and harmonious community are having been around. As a result, the desired for the urban transport is demanding more and more. And the development of humanistic transport is making important and urgent. Therefore, many cities put forward a policy of "transit prior" to solve the traffic problem, strive to develop the public traffic, especially the bus rapid transit system. And continually implement the idea of "low carbon transport" and "green transport". Also pay more attention to the humanistic bus rapid transit system.This thesis researches based on describing the development of humanistic traffic at home and abroad, especially the humanistic development of BRT; taking examples by the experience of humanistic construction on planning, management, infrastructure, and so on; and offering the reference for developing the urban rapid traffic. Concretely gains the first hand information of humanistic bus rapid traffic in Guangzhou by getting through the questionnaire survey and interview. After that, evaluates the humanistis levels of Guangzhou BRT by using importance performance analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The conclution is: the level of humanistic BRT in Guangzhou belongs to medium. The reasons of shortages of humanistic BRT in Guangzhou are: the configuration of bus lines is short of logical; intelligentizeg information system needs more optimize; comfort level in bus is not so well; direction information system needs make more betters; the representation of fairness is not in place; the accessibility is waiting to improve on, and so on. Afterwards, it puts forward the recommendations to optimize and complete the planning, management and implement of humanistic; and offers a mirror to structure the humanistic BRT system in Guangzhou.
