| With the development of society and economy, the process of urbanization had been speed up. There is a serious imbalance between the huge traffic demand and the limited traffic resource in city. The inefficiency of transport system have been constrained the rapid development of city. At the same time, the traffic pollution brings tremendous damage to the environment, and urban traffic is facing an unprecedented pressure and contradictions. The voice that appeals to improve the urban transportationand environment from community have become more and more strongly.Bus Rapid Transit System (BRT) which is originated in the middle of 1990s is a rapid public transit system which is between urban railway system and traditional bus system. Compared to subway and light rail, Bus Rapid Transit System (BRT) has many advantages, less investment, short construction cycle, great capacity, rapid speed, less pollution and so on. In recent years, under the influence of the successful abroad BRT projects, it inspired many cities to plan and construct BRT. Therefore it has practical significance to strengthen the research of Bus Rapid Transit System, and needs theory and research findings to put BRT into practice, fully displaying effectiveness of BRT.Basing on the definition of BRT, clarifying its elements and technical characteristics, this paper addresses the significance of researching operations management system technology of BRT. It analyses system applied technology of BRT in Curitiba, Bogota, Vancouver, Beijing and Hangzhou, and summarizes the inspiration of these city to us. Then, this research focus on the system info about network structure, bus lane and stop design, vehicle compare,operation and management construction,the public traffic dispatching system design and fare collectiong system design, systemically analyzes the feature and adaptability between different modes, Put forward the views of relevant theoretical research , Give some suggestion on constructing the operation and management of BRT system.Finally, this article uses the actuality of traffic in ZhongShan Avenue BRT test line in GuangZhou to validate the technique above.The research will provide the references to implement the BRT planning in Guangzhou and other cities. |
