Research On The Heritage Of Regional Culture In The Urban Design Of Shennongxi Area In Badong

The special geographical location and natural environment of Badong make it has a very unique local culture. The development of Badong town has gone through three stages: the old county of Badong with the impact of its regional culture, the new county of Badong after the reconstruction due to Three Gorges Project Resettlement and the relocation of Shennongxi area by Hedge geological disasters. The rich regional culture and the beauty of the county are not fully reflected in the new county of Badong. Facing this problem, it is of special significance to carry research on how to film the regional culture in the urban design of Shennongxi area in Badong.This study attempts to carry research on how to film the regional culture in the design of a city. Setting Shennongxi area in Badong as the object, this study does research by means of reading through literature, on-spot investigation, inductive analysis and comparative research. This study begins with the characteristics of regional culture in Badong area after the introduction of its regional culture, historical cultural, national origin etc. Then it analyzes the development with the influence of this kind of regional culture. It analyzes the two stages of the old county of Badong and the new county of Badong after Three Gorges Project Resettlement on the base of economic, population size and national origin. Since the dross has been abandoned and the essence has been taken in, the way to construct the Shennongxi area becomes clear and can be used in the urban design of Shennongxi area in Badong. On the one hand, it shows the unique geographical and cultural charm of Badong. On the other hand, it provides valuable reference as well as a case to urban development with regional culture. Thirdly, it makes up the cultural loss of Badong in the resettlement.However, the urban design of Shennongxi area in Badong is only the beginning, not the ending of the regional cultural studies in Badong. It is also one of the stages of the development of Badong. The research on the inheritance of raditional regional culture will never be outdated. More patterns to promote the local culture heritage deserve our detailed and in-depth exploration.
