| With the development of science and technology, diesel engine has been asked to achieve stable performance which leans on how much effort the governor can offer. In this research, simulated electronic governor (supported by Tianjin LeiWo Power Ltd) will be inspected to support the research and development on digital electronic governor. The governor belongs to the double control system which to prevent high-speed vehicles and idle instability.In this research, diesel engine governor system has been deployed in the oretical study and practice.Equation of motion and characteritics (static and dynamic) have been analyzed which recognized as key elements when measuring governor system.The new digital governor system is composing of three parts: signal collection, data processing and actuauor.AT89C52 SCM has been selected to deal with data processing and 12V proportional solenoid (WOODWARD produced) is used as actuator. The signal has been sourced from rotation signal and injection pump rack position signal. Then, A/D converter will send analog signals to SCM to process with fuzzy control algorithm. This design will implement accurate control with dim language. First, proportional solenoid is controlled by signal output. Then, proportional solenoid decides how much gasoline the injection pump offer. At last, rotation rate can be restricted by injection pump diesel delivery.Be benefit from fuzzy algorithm control system design, governor will be superior in robustness and sensitivity. Compare with mechanical governor and simulated governor, the digital electronic governor has advantage: circuit simplifying to cut production cost; fulfill variant diesel engine requirement by adapting control system. |
