The Preliminary Research Of Instrument Flight Procedures Three-Dimensional Display System Design

Now a lot of airspace planning and design of flight procedures still remain in the stage of two-dimensional structure revealed.Because of that, the information is not clear and rendering is not intuitive.As the development of the computer simulation technology and geographic information technologies, the requirements of flight procedures three-dimensional display is icreasing. But there are not have a complete flight procedures three-dimensional aided design system at home and abroad.Based on this, the papers drew in view of ICAO documents Doc8168, and on the views of experts on flight procedures, and designed the three-dimensional models of navigation elements as well as their presentation. According to the standard of flight procedures design, using the ideological of arc approaching, established a node-based turnning route automatic display model and holding pattern model based on holding fix.With these models can generate three-dimensional flight and holding path, which's flight parameters can be regulated.With software engineering modular design concept and designed mathematical model.The papers developed instrument flight procedures three-dimensional display system, which provides a simple and efficient design of flight procedures, and can be completed on the design of a three-dimensional simulation of flight procedures,and make the the elements of two-dimensional drawings to demonstrate dynamiclly. In this way the efficiency of three-dimensional design of flight procedures will greatly improve, and solve the three-dimensional visualization of flight procedures.Then inputing the chart data of Dalian Zhoushuizi airport, to test and verify the system model, and prove the system design is reasonable and accurate.Finally, the paper summarized the results, and put forward the method of flight procedures three-dimensional aided design and related issues.
