Study On The Plan And Design Of The Older Friendly Public Park

Since China formally became the aging society in 2003, rapidly growing elderly population each year brought a lot of contradictions and enormous pressure on China's economic, social and other aspects. In this situation, "older-friendly city " concept proposed, which will promote the improvement of older persons in the city's physical living environment and public service facilities, to encourage the elderly to better, unobstructed participation in social life, and social resources.Parks urban, as an important part of city physical environment, plays an important role for the elderly to maintain the ability of healthy living, to enable the elderly to actively participate in society and to reproduce the elderly as the value of family and social resources. Thus planning and design of old age-friendly park green space is very important. In this thesis, relevant literature is collected, the three characteristics of elderly in physical, psychological and behavioral activities as well as their behavior patterns of outdoor activities and requirements to outdoor activity space are summarized, then different types of green parks in Nanjing field surveys are presented, focusing on the basic information, behavior patterns and evaluation of green parks of elderly, the leisure space, service facilities and details of the design in park green space are investigated, the current common problems of parks in Nanjing are summarized. Based on the field research, the basic principles of planning and design of elderly-friendly park green space is proposed according to the analysis, and a comprehensive exposition of them space, and the design method of walking space, sitting room, lighting information, color, logo design and other special design is elaborate.
