In this situation, we need a new kind of design method that will adapt to the new situation. Because the 3D layout design can satisfy and create new the demand, inevitably it has more strong market competitiveness. For this reason, the authors do a factory 3D design using the software of PDMS.General management is part of the enterprise management. We do layout management in construction stage, enterprise's operation stage and late stage of change and expansion. The scientific general management of production is the safety guarantee. The material of architecture and equipment of enterprise is the foundation material of technology transformation. And good management standard is able to provide comparatively complete and accurate information. However, China's current layout management is relatively backward. For this reason, this paper use the software PDMS to general management1. Based on 3D design and management software PDMS are briefly introduced and summarizes the characteristics of PDMS and analysis the feasibility and reality of the 3D design using the software. Because of more professional in the underground pipelines, use 3D collaborative design method for the design of underground pipeline. In order to avoid doing with the pipe line design professional repeated coordination and communication. Satisfy requirements of vertical and level distance between pipenet. General layout is very important to design general plan content.General layout is reasonable or not directly affect the future operation of the plant and effectiveness of it. And do animation production for the plant so that the the factory become virtual "reality".3. This paper used the PDMS to the idea of general plan administration and studied its feasibility. Reasonable for database of PDMS provide the feasibility for General Plan management. In terms of engineering design, construction or operation process, which part of the information needed only to call out from the database. It provides for the General Plan management of a new, scientific management methods.
