The historical district demonstrates its significance during the urban development that emphasizes on economical and cultural impacts. It has returned to the central stage again since being ignored for a long time. During the fourth economical reform, the experience economy envisions the historical district preservation practical, not only because economic determines superstructure, but also because the experience economy ensures financial stabilization with self-recycle system for the historical district preservation. However, after critically examining economic revitalization models that focus on the commercial development, I find these models make the historical district lose its positive characters, and turn to another "Disneyland". In this paper, I will use my methodology to figure out the way that suits for the historical district preservation and itself development.Performing as the urban element depositing through the long history, the historical district only can survive from the wild flood of the urban development through revitalizing its own characters. The experience economy is able to make it happen. The experience economy evokes the appreciation for the cultural value from physical needs in the historical district, which realize by its unique requirement of products; while it allows the historical district to meet people's psychological needs for deep-experience through the emphasis on the body of the experience economic. More importantly, the revitalized historical district will play its new role in the urban development, to envision sustainable development with its historical background, to improve city's reputation, and to reinforce city's identity and a sense of belonging.
