Intelligent Millimeter wave fuze with the capabilities of target detection and target recognition is a trend of the development of fuze technology nowadays. For the complexity of radio fuze target detection and environment recognition and multiple of target, the design for fuze target detection and recognition system faces with severe challenge. In this paper, with the design and research background of target detection and recognition system of millimeter wave fuze, the millimeter wave fuze for ground target detecting is studied. Through the principle of the continuous wave Doppler in the radio fuze, the simulation of the Doppler echo signal has analyzed. The target recognition methods of millimeter wave (MMW) detector are based on two detection ways of bispectrum slice and time-frequency analysis of short-time Fourier transform. The paper research solve target detect and target identification for ground target echo signal that combined with measured signals. It detected target from the background echo signal by the change of the approach of projectile and target in the time domain and frequency domain. Analysis confirmed the effectiveness of short-time Fourier transform. DSP digital signal processing applications proved that the algorithm's effectiveness in project implementation. Finally prove short-time Fourier transform is useful and efficient. On the basis of simulation, the exploration of a sample'based on DSP-chip is proposed. Study on Detection methods about of MMW fuze Echo Signal of Target on the Ground, It show that the improvement of precise attack ability and anti-jamming ability of intelligent millimeter wave fuze provide effective guarantees.
