The semi-active laser proximity fuze is a new type fuze, which is developed for smallcaliber antiaircraft artillery to speedup the processes of intelligentizing and smartening theconventional weapons. The target detection method, the technique of the laser, the signalprocessing technique and the anti-jamming technique of the semi-active laser proximityfuze are analyzed and researched on the platform of a small caliber antiaircraft guns. Thethought, theories and methods of the active laser proximity fuze, the radio proximity fuze,the laser radar and the laser guidance are introduced into the design of the semi-active laserproximity fuze. They are changed and deduced on the basis of the features of the system.Laser target scatter characteristics are analyzed, and a new target detection method isgiven, which is adapt to different projectile-target encounters. The action range equation isdeduced. The selection, design and coding of the laser are analyzed. The features ofdifferent photodetectors is discussed, and the suitable type is given. The signal processingmethod is researched, the designs of hardware and software are given, and the circuit boardmeets the demands of miniaturization and low power. Different types of noises areanalyzed, and the system SNR equation is deduced. Measures of the anti-environmentjamming and the anti-electromagnetic jamming are discussed.
