Torpedo fuze is the last action in the operation of torpedo, which is most important in torpedo weapon system. The unitary performance of Digital fuze is improved much for adopting digital technology to detect the echo. The paper researches on the electromagnetic fuze system of the "XX" torpedo. The key technologies of fuze digitization are deeply studied. The contents are as follow:1. The general principles of the electromagnetic fuze are studied and the basic characteristics of electromagnetic field around the fuze while working are analyzed. Based on the above, the approximate mathematical model is set up and the information in the target signal is expounded. According to the speciality of the target signal, a simple signal-detection algorithm, which is propitious to be executed in DSP, is proposed.2. To meet the need of the fuze and its digitization, the digital signal processing platform, which is the core of the fuze system, is developed. The platform is divided into four modules: core processing module,data acquisition module,data storage module and data communication module. And the design of them is discussed in detail.3. The software design of the digital fuze system is put forwards, in which the concrete design for four modules is given and the program of signal-detection algorithm is fulfilled.4. Functional tests are made on the designed digital fuze system. The outcome demonstrates that the digital processor can be used in the digital fuze system realizing the fuze function.
