The cityscape reflects city self-restrain, a distinctive cityscape can upgrade the city's competitiveness. At present, the phenomenon that many characteristics of the cityscape which the city ever owned or will own have been lost or being ignored is very comment, though most of the cities are concerned on building their cityscape.One of the reasons is that the extensive agreement on the cognition to characteristic cityscape and the judgment of characteristic cityscape space have not been formed. This paper tries to propose an evaluation system to find the present situation characteristic space of cityscape. In order to provide space basis for the cityscape building work.This paper, using the questionnaire survey technology, based on the analysis of the meaning, influence factors and the essential attributes of characteristic cityscape, combined with people's vision object, external factors, previous experience cognitive laws, puts forward characteristics of cityscape evaluation parameter. From visual object angle, put forward twelve evaluation factors, such as water distribution, terrain topography, resource products, cultural relics, special buildings in natural and artificial, time and behavior environmental aspects. From cognitive laws angle, put forward twelve evaluation factors, such as swim line recommendation, the media publicity, cognitive coordinate system in cognitive external factors and internal factors. Finally, set an evaluation factors system with 15 evaluation factors, determine evaluation methods, by using AHP method and the GIS technology vol-au-vents means draw a more intuitive evaluation model reflects the distribution of the characteristic space of cityscape. To achieve the goal that can provide clear space basis for the cityscape shaping work.
