Condenser is important auxiliary equipment of steam turbine,and its vacuum has a decisive influence on economy and security of the whole thermal power plant. It is one of the main entry point to achieve energy saving how to maintain a high vacuum condenser. The condenser vacuum system, as the direct system of drawing gas out of condenser is the main techniques to maintain high vacuum.The performance of vacuum system based on water ring vacuum pump is influenced by water temperature, amount of leakage of air, suction pressure and other factors greatly. Particularly, the water temperature will lead to sharp decline in vacuum pump capacity, then cause the accumulation of air in condenser, also degrade condenser heat transfer performance and reduce condenser vacuum. It is necessary to know the vacuum system performance variation with different parameters to improve efficiency of the system. However, evaluate the performance of vacuum system and how to improve the performance from the point of the entire vacuum system is still very lacking.Therefore, this article will use the whole vacuum system as the research object, and establish a vacuum system assessment model, quantitative study of law of performance of vacuum system at different working temperature, different amount of air leakage and different suction pressure. Built the performance comparison model of vacuum system using 'spray the cooling water into the condenser exhaust port technology', deeply analyse the changes in law of performance of water spray system in different working temperature, the amount of air leakage and the amount of cooling water. Built the performance comparison model of vacuum system using 'add additive technology', deeply analyse the changes in law of performance of water spray system in different working temperature, the solute mole fraction and the amount of air leakage. Built the performance comparison model of vacuum system using 'use pump working media technology', deeply analyse the changes in law of performance of water spray system in different working temperature, the amount of air leakage and the working fluid physics,to find a viable method for improving the performance of vacuum system.The study results shows that the working temperature, the amount of air leakage and suction pressure has different influence on performance of vacuum system. Through theoretical calculation, we find it is feasible to improve performance by physical methods and chemical methods. as the work temperature, the amount of air leaking and the property of working medium are different, the performance is also different. The work offers theoretical support and numerical reference to get high vacuum.
