Catering culture is one of the most cross-cultural phenomena, and it remains a close relation with cross-cultural communication. Different nations have different features in catering culture. There are great disparities between Chinese and Western countries in idea, contents, customs and etiquettes of catering culture. This paper endeavors to analyze the cultural differences and rooted courses in Chinese and Western food cultures, and points out that with the development of cross-cultural communication, more integration and more developments in catering culture will arise. |
