Since the technological revolution, the nature has been much known and changed by human beings through the medium of science and technology, which is both the result of the human practices that reflects human essence and the tools used by human beings to exert their influences on the nature, which has already made many miracles in the world. After the coming of the High-Tech age, science and technology have achieved their fastest development ever in the history, the impacts of which have touched our life more and more deeply. On one hand, all kinds of progresses that science and technology bring out much improve people's ability to adjust to the society, change the nature and satisfy their lusts. On the other hand, meanwhile they cause the alienation of human beings by making them more and more rely on science and technology and even threaten the whole civilization. Under such a condition, the discussion about the integration of science and technology and education is of much importance when considering the function of knowledge to create wealth and of education to cultivate talents. Consisting of five parts in total, the paper successively analyzes the historical development of the integration of science and technology and education, its importance and problems faced in the High-Tech age and the relevant solutions.For the purpose to more deeply understand the subject—the integration of science and technology and education, what needs to be analyzed first is its origin, development, meanings and so on. Therefore, the first part mainly sorts out some previous and current situation and the achievements obtained, discussing the theoretical and practical meanings as well as the research method of this paper. The historical and practical analysis of the subject is beneficial for the better understanding of its origin and essence, under the basis of which, the characteristics of the High-Tech age and its new requirements for the subject are discussed in the second part, along with the importance of the integration of the two factors. In part three, from the point of view of the problems and obstacles faced by human beings in the long history of the science and technology's development, the dilemma caused by rationalism, science and technology, utilitarianism is interpreted. Based on the analysis of the part three, the next part aims to find the solutions of such a dilemma. The scientific outlook on development, the collaboration of producing, education and research and the role of morality are the main means that have been put forward. In the last part of the paper, the call of the era is manifested that, in the High-Tech age when people have seen the fastest improvement and dominance of science and technology, only if humanistic spirits are involved and the flaws of instrumental rationality are overcome can the goal of integration of science and technology and education be reached in the end.
