Human Concern Of Modern Science And Technology

The rapid development of modern science and technology and its application bring human beings into technology time. Human concern means that human beings and their existence and development should be paid attention to. Virtually, development in science and technology and human concern are consistent, mutually penetrating and promoting. A society is not a perfect and harmonious one without upholding both science and humanity. Human concern is what a harmonious society connotes.How to make science and technology serve the human beings to the maximum becomes an important issue that human beings must concern. This paper attempts to make a breakthrough from the relationship between development in science and technology and human concern. It is significant that human concern must be given to science and technology, which is the mainstream in modern times. In some degree it determines the existence and development.Based on what has been mentioned above, this paper deals with the question in four aspects. First, it mentions the difficult positions which modern science and technology have brought about, and makes comments on them in a human way. Human concern has been highlighted in the development of science and technology, which accounts for the necessity of human concern for modern science and technology. Then, it is illustrated in this paper from the nature of science and human beings and from social development that human concern for science and technology is determined by the reality, which is the inevitability of human concern for modern science and technology. Moreover, this paper attempts to break through the traditional way of thinking and put forward such principles as human principle, ecological principle and sustainable development principle, which human concern for modern science and technology should follow, and which act as a guide for the development of modern science and technology. Finally, from several aspects this paper tries to seek ways to realize the human concern for modern science and technology, in order to achieve the harmonious development of science and humanity.
