Modern tourism originated from the middle of last century and it sprang up during last 50 years. Until 1992, modern tourism has become the first place among the industries, and it is playing a quite important role in these areas, like Balance of international payments, Recovery of paper money, increasing job openings, Improving region economy level, Improving the investment climate, Realizing society economy sustainable development and so on. In recent 10 to 20 years, the importance and good future of modern tourism has commonly been realized by government and the general public. China is one of the nations who possess plenty of tourism resources, so if it is going to develop tourism, there are many self-advantages. Moreover, Chinese government has set tourism as a new point of increasing GDP ,and it has been enlarging the investment in this area .There are many rare and valued opportunities in front of Chinese tourism.As one of the biggest, highest and youngest plateaus in the world, Qingzang plateau possesses the unique tourism resources which are of plateau characteristic. Because of the condition of special the climate, traffic and some other factors, Qingzang plateau is in a place which sealed itself off. To the people who are living outside of Qingzang plateau, this place is full of attraction and mysteries .Nevertheless, Qingzang plateau is very difficult to reach. Just as people say, going to Qingzang plateau is even harder than going abroad. Therefore, the super tourism resources of it haven't been full-recognized and full-explored, and the tourism of this place isn't developing so well.From July 1 st, 2006, Qingzang railway has been under construction, it is a milestone to the regions along side the new railway .because there is going to be a bridge between explorations of tourism resource, the development of tourism, the exploration of tourism resource of all theregions along side Qingzang railway is entering a brand-new period.Therefore, the exploration and research to it is very important as well as significant to the development of tourism, ecological and social benefit, and many other aspects.With the help of the internet and some documents, this dissertation is going to elaborate from following chapters.Chapter I is the theory section .beginning with the important concept tourism resources ,there is a systematic introduction of related theory and principles of exploration of tourism resource .Chapter II analyses the requirement of exploration of tourism resources .it illustrates generally from environmental factors ,the level of economic development, the capability of the tourism resource and some other aspects.Chapter III describe the current situation of the exploration of tourism resource ,and it provide the problems the project is facing with a cue of solution.Chapter IV draws conduction of the direction of exploration of tourism resource after analyzing the main characteristic of tourism resource ,the tenderly of tourism' demands and customer resource marketplace.Chapter V is the most important of this dissertation . It discusses how to carry out the strategy mainly from regional distribution.
