Effectiveness And Its Assessment Of The Theory Of Competitive Intelligence System Based On The Value Analysis

The global economic environment is developing and the competition between the corporations is more intense now. To reduce the uncertain factors in the complicated environment, more and more enterprises introduce competitive intelligence (CI) and construct their competitive intelligence system (CIS) step by step. Accordingly, at present, increasing attention is paid to the avail of CIS, as well as the affecting factors. Because the value of CI is anticipant and is difficult to accurately computation, the effective measurements of the CIS' evaluation have been exploring. In order to find the theoretic support of the measurement, the paper introduces the theory of Value Analysis (VA) to the measurement of CIS' avail.First, the paper clarifies the connotation and puts forward the constitution of the CIS. Further more, it summarizes the CIS' running mode and function, as well as the used means for evaluating the CIS' avail. Secondly, the paper introduces the connotation and exhibition of Value. And then, it analyses the principle and process of the theory of VA. Thirdly, this paper reviews the constitution of the CIS based on VA, differentiates and analyses the avail and the cost of CIS. Further more, it makes the framework and process for the evaluation of the CIS' avail. In the end, through the survey, the paper uses the forenamed process to implement the evaluation and penetrates with results.
