The Social Responsibility Of Enterprises

Whether enterprises have to undertake the social responsibility is one of questions which economist and managers always argued. The overseas theorists always have the argument to the enterprise society responsibility, some scholars advocate economic first, and think enterprise's only responsibility is to pursue the economic maximization. At the same time, some scholars point out the enterprise not only pursue economic but also should undertake the corresponding social responsibility. This paper point out enterprise should pay equal attention to pursue economic and undertake the social responsibility.This paper is divided into six chapters. In the first chapter, it elaborated the background, the method, the significance and the design. In the following chapters, it contents the concept of enterprise society responsibility, the domestic and foreign enterprises society responsibility theory .It propose that the enterprise needs to undertake the economical responsibility, the legal liability, ethics responsibility and the spontaneous responsibility. It also point out our present situations of society responsibility and promote several ways to realize society responsibility.The enterprise society responsibility is a new thing in China. We still have certain erroneous zone and some limits to the enterprise society responsibility. Therefore it's necessary for us to make the enterprise society responsibility clear according to our present situation as well as how should the enterprise undertake the social responsibility. We also need to establish the perfect enterprise society responsibility appraisal system according to this, using the economical, legal and ethics method urges the enterprise to undertake the social responsibility well.
