| Changjiang Delta, being an economy center in China, has attracted more and more attention from all over the world. With the rapid and stable growth in economy in recent years, Changjiang Delta has become one of the most developed, active and global competitive areas in China. Whether the Delta can continue its fast growth rate in economy is closely depend on the level of development in industry competency and long-term competitive advantage in the area. This paper is making an effort to find the key factors, which have influence on the improvement of industry competency in Changjiang Delta, and thus to give a deep thinking and some advices on how to upgrade of the overall competency for the area.Start from analyzing industry competence for the Changjiang Delta, this paper chooses some relevant classical theories on industry competence as the bases of the study. Then the paper was given a full analysis on the present situation of industry structure, industry layout and economic integration for Changjiang Delta and their relationship to the upgrading of the industry competence for the area. It also was studied the direct and indirect factors that will affect industry structure, industry layout and the degree of economic integration for the area.There are five parts in this paper. Part one, mainly explains the study background, purpose and significance, and the content and structure of this paper, in order to give readers a whole understanding of the paper. Part two, introduces the theory basis on industry's competition, economic meanings and running factors. Part three, analyzes the direct factors that are affecting the industry competence for the Delta, which are the present situation of industry structure, industry layout and economic integration in Changjiang Delta and their relationship to the upgrading of the industry competence for the area. Part four, mainly discusses the indirect factors that are affecting the upgrade of the industry competence for the Delta. In the last part, the paper has described a prospective outlook for the situation and goals for future development of Changjiang Delta based on the previous analysis. |
