In recent years, the issues of completely upgrading human resource management haveloomed large with many enterprises. Building a competency model can help solving theseissues.Nowadays, China has become one of the most vigorous export countries. More andmore enterprises have joined the export line. However, the lack of international businesstalents is a serious factor that restricts Chinese enterprises from going to internationalmarket and competing with global rivals. There are still a big gap between Chineseinternational business talents and those worldwide.The thesis introduces the theories of Competency model .Combining thecharacteristics of international business and the enterprise's situation, the author introducesthe establishing process of the Competency Model for TCL Corporation InternationalBusiness Staff, points out the model's application value to Strategic OEM SBU and otherbusiness lines.The thesis is divided into four parts:Chapter one is about the background and importance of competency model, analyzesthe present situation of Chinese international business talents.Chapter two introduces the theories of Competency Model.Chapter three introduces the establishing process of the Competency Model for TCLCorporation International Business Staff and makes an analysis on its result.Chapter four analyzes the application value of the competency model to theinternational business staff management of Strategic OEM SBU and other business lines.
