Suitability Of Eco-tourism

In view of the problems in the research of eco-tourism, in This article I take the Lvshun as the example, and carry on the eco-tourism suitability evaluation mainly from three aspects: the eco-tourism climate resources, eco-tourism area and eco-tourism capacity. In the eco-tourism climate resources suitability evaluation, Temperature-humidity Index and Wind Effect Index was adopted as standard of the comfortable degree of human body, and the comfortable degree, comfortable Period and tourism climate barrier of Lvshun was evaluated compared with 7 other cities in the Region around Bohai. In eco-tourism area suitability evaluation, I quote the Landscape ecology theory. Firstly, the impact factors of eco-tourism suitability evaluation are determined. Then their relative weights are assigned with Analytic Hierarchy Process. Statistical analysis with Geographical Information System reveals only 940. 4ha (2. 4%)of the total area are most suitable for eco-tourism exploitation, 8061. 5ha(20. 69%) are moderately suitable, 8025. 2ha(20. 59%) are suitable, and 16829. 55ha(43. 2%) are marginally suitable. Finally, the thesis puts forward some suggestions by taking into considerations of different values of eco-tourism suitability. In the eco-tourism capacity suitability evaluation, different formulas are adopted to statistic Environmental Capacity, Psychology Capacity of local resident, Economic Capacity and Room Capacity. Finally, according to "Wooden Barrel" principle, I statistic the final capacity and put forward some suggestions on exploitation and management by taking into considerations of different kinds of capacities.
