The establishment of the International Mountain Tourism Alliance and the convening of the first International Mountain Tourism Conference have brought new opportunities,new perspectives and new momentum to the development of mountain tourism in China.Based on the National Natural Science Foundation's project "Research on the Regional System Changes and Mechanisms of Human-land Relations in Mountain Tourism Destinations",the Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Area(including the Yulong Snow Mountain Scenic Area and its surrounding attractions)is the research object.By sorting out and summarizing relevant domestic and foreign literature on product suitability development,it is found that the research focus is mainly on the evaluation of the suitability of mountain environment,tourism resources and land use planning,and there are relatively few theoretical and practical discussions on the suitability of mountain tourism products for development and the degree of development.Therefore,this study takes the Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Area as a case.The research on the appropriateness of the development of mountain tourism products has strong theoretical and practical significance.Based on the definition of mountain tourism products and product development suitability,this paper selects RMP theory,niche suitability theory,and mountain vertical zone theory as the basic theoretical support for this research.It uses Delphi method,analytic hierarchy process,and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation Method,GIS software analysis,and other research methods to analyze the main factors affecting the suitability development of mountain tourism products in the Yulong Snow Mountain Tourist Area,and to clarify the weight coefficients of each influencing factor.On this basis,combined with the actual development of Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Area and tourists' perception of Yulong Snow Mountain,analyze whether Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Area is suitable for developing mountain tourism products.In order to further clarify the types of products suitable for development,based on the evaluation index system for the suitability of mountain tourism product development in the Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Area,an indexsystem capable of distinguishing product type scoring standards was established,and the most suitable type of mountain tourism product development in Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Area,And put forward the countermeasures and development path of mountain tourism product development in Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Area.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The main factors affecting the development of tourism products in the Yulong Snow Mountain are identified.The suitability of mountain tourism products in the Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Area was discussed from four aspects: mountain resources,mountain environment,tourism market,and tourism development conditions.The results show that the mountain resource suitability has the highest weight(0.4670),the mountain environment and the tourism market have the same weight(0.1977),and the tourism development conditions have the lowest weight(0.1376),indicating that mountain resources are the basis and primary condition for mountain tourism product development.Product development relies on resources and depends on the environment.At the same time,it is inseparable from the tourism market to generate benefits,so as to realize the value of mountain tourism product development.And tourism development conditions are the guarantee factors for mountain tourism product development,transportation,accommodation and other infrastructure facilities.No longer a major limiting factor in the development of tourism products.(2)Calculate the evaluation value of the suitability of mountain tourism product development in the Yulong Snow Mountain Tourist Area as 7.5089,which belongs to the “more suitable” category and is a suitable development area.After comprehensive weighting,the tourism market scored the highest(8.0929),followed by the mountain environment(7.7009)and tourism development conditions(7.6159),and mountain resources scored the lowest(7.1489).Comparing the comprehensive weighted score with the weighted score,it can be seen that the tourism market suitability score is in the "most suitable" range,indicating that the Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Zone has now formed a certain market size and a good market environment,and has a market suitable for mountain product development surroundings.The mountainresources,tourism development conditions,and mountain environment scores are all in the "more suitable" category.The mountain environment and tourism market weight scores are the same,indicating that the development of mountain tourism products is of equal importance.However,the comprehensive score is lower than that in the tourism market,which indicates that mountain environmental factors have a greater impact on the development of different types of products.Environmental factors limit the selectivity of product type development to varying degrees.In actual development,mountain tourism product development indeed suffer the impact of natural environments such as altitude and terrain,which has limited the development of mountain tourism products.The comprehensive score of tourism development conditions is relatively high and the weight score is the lowest,indicating that the Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Area has the infrastructure and socio-economic conditions required for the development of mountain tourism products,and can provide protection for the development of tourism products.Mountain resources have the lowest comprehensive score and the highest weight score.A high weight score reflects the importance of tourism resources for the development of tourism products,while the lowest comprehensive score indicates that tourism resources have not been fully and effectively used in actual development,and the conversion rate of "resources-products" is not high.High,the use of tourism resources can be further improved.(3)On the premise that the Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Area is suitable for developing mountain tourism products,the research is suitable for the development of different types of mountain tourism products in the Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Area.The research results show that the comprehensive scores of various products are ranked in order of tourism and recreational mountain tourism products,cultural and art mountain tourism products,sports and recreation mountain tourism products,scientific research and mountain tourism products,entertainment experience mountain tourism products,and leisure.Vacation mountain tourism products.Among them,the tourism and recreation,culture and arts,sports,sports,scientific research and entertainment experience mountain tourism products have scores of 3-4,which aremore suitable for developing products,indicating that the development of these five categories of products is relatively Mature and relatively loved,suitable for deep development.The scores of leisure and tourism mountain tourism products are between 2-3 subdivisions,which are generally suitable for development.However,in the context of policy orientation and the urgent need for transformation and development of tourism,the development prospects of leisure and mountain tourism products are worth looking forward to.(4)Aiming at the development status of mountain tourism products in Yulong Snow Mountain Tourist Area,it is proposed to create a “slow” mountain tourism path that mainly develops tourism,leisure,vacation,and health care;build a geological science popularization and multicultural research tourism combined with mountain research Base;Introducing the creative concept of real-world performing arts,extending the cultural tourism industry chain,and creating paths for mountain vitality gathering places.At the same time,it is proposed to establish and improve various policies,optimize the management system of scenic spots,use modern information technology,build smart tourism parks,improve the safety guarantee system of scenic spots,and ensure the safe operation of tourism.
