Besides product competition, price competition, variety competition and service competition, nowadays enterprise competition has expanded to other areas such as market competition and reputation competition within the continuing process to accomplish the industrialization and informatization, and the significant role of information has an impressive effect on all the commercial battle among various enterprises. Expanding the market share and maximizing the profits are both vital targets for any enterprise in its production and operation process. It is a rather effective way for the enterprise to capitalize its internal and external resources, optimize its human resource allocation by processing the information systems and integrated management which could provide a reasonable, high efficient and systematic procedure to manage its production and operation. Furthermore, the overall optimization of the enterprise’s resources allocation is the main component that ERP system focused on, and this system is efficient in making sure the achievements of the goals including scientific management and optimization of business process. Obviously, it is in the key role of enterprise’s information construction that has an extremely profound influence on enterprise’s further development.This paper mainly demonstrates the existing problems and safeguards(corresponding solutions) in the whole process of ERP program construction through the critical analysis of a whole SAP program’s implementation process based on the discussing of literatures including ERP theories, the requirements of enterprise’s information development and targets of enterprise’s information construction. In addition, this dissertation will regard the sale and distribution module in SAP R/3 system as its analysis target, and it would carry out a solution plan for the project construction by mainly analyzing the characteristics of Company Y’s marketing promotions and business requirements in case of Company Y’s requirements for ERP project construction.This dissertation is going to apply ERP theories, knowledge on modern enterprise management and the combination of technologies achievement and enterprise’s information construction practice in order to present a reasonable business plan for Company Y on the development of its sales operation system, further, findings in this paper will make a contribution to improve enterprise’s management capability, optimize the business process and strengthen enterprise’s capability in adapting further development and market competition. Diagrams, charts and graphics are all presented in this paper in order to illustrate key procedures of ERP system’s implementation, and it focus mainly on discussing the issue through enterprise’s developing requirements and the match of information system. Moreover, some of the mentioned implementation process and risk measures for ERP program construction would make a great contribution to these enterprises which are under the implementing of ERP project or will precede it in the future.
