Research On The Realization Mechanism Of Embedding Global Production Network To Improve Yunnan 's Innovation Ability

Science and technology innovation is the stractegic support to improve the comprehensive national power and social productivity. To accelerate the implementation of innovation driven development strategy, make the enterprise as the main body of innovation, which will have profound effect on our country, especially on underdevelopment area to change the economic growth mode, improve the efficiengy of economic growth, and form new advantages in international competition. With the trend of integration of world economy, more and more foreign compaines stationed in China, which on the one hand enriches the innovation resources to enhance local innovation ability, on the other hand, brings challenges for local enterprise to deal with technical blockade when paticpating in international competition. According to existing researches, this paper studies the influences on the regional innovation capability drew by carrying on international industry transfer, and the mechanism of developing innovation ability when embedding in GPN. On the basis of theoretical analysis, it also includes empirical tests to support the hypothesis, and puts forward some policy recommendations to enhance the innovation capability of Yunnan Province.In this paper, network scale effect, knowledge-getting effect and structural holes would be expatiated respectively from embedding scale, embedding level and embedding position. According to literature survey and comparative analysis, put forward the theory assumption, and carry out authentic proof analysis based on the data and examples of Yunnan province. The results showed that embedding in GPN can enhance the innovation ability of Yunnan. (1) From the current results, each city should keep optimal embedding scales according to their own situations. Besides, there exists a time lag in the promotion. According to the 2-lag-period results, it will be better for Yunnan to enlarge embedding scales. (2) The moderate degree playes a significant role in the promation of Yunnan’s innovation ability promotion. (3) Enterprises which occupying the position of the structure hole have higher innovation ability, and the number of structural holes has a positive effect on the innovation ability of the core enterprise.According to the theoretical analysis and empirical results, this disseration disscuss the suggestions for firms and governments. The government should vigorously improve the regional innovation system, promote the industrial undertaking level. The enterprises should actively embed in the global production network, improve the system of learning mechanism and absorptive capacity, and increase innovation inputs and personnel training efforts.
