Based on an export-oriented typical traditional manufacturing enterprises RS company as a case study of the company in the problems faced by the current stage of economic down cycle, as well as the company according to the change of the environment of the strategy formulation and adjust accordingly. In this paper, the related theory and the analysis model, Porter’s competitive strategy, Porter five forces analysis theory, Michael Porter’s value chain theory PESTEL analysis of various factors affecting RS company, external environment, internal organization are analyzed, and the RS’s core competitiveness to identify and analyze, based on the above analysis, opportunities and risks of the external of RS company, internal strengths and weaknesses were SWOT analysis, and then get the strategic combination selection. According to the specific circumstances of RS, from a practical point of view to determine the corresponding strategic combination and strategic positioning, and the company’s short-term, medium-term and long-term strategic target and the implementation of specific programs and the implementation of security given the relevant advice. At the end of the article, this paper makes a preliminary evaluation and guidance on the changes and effects of RS company’s implementation of the development strategy in the last year.RS company was founded in 1995, during 20 years it grown to a big enterprise with the annual output of more than one million RMB of private enterprises. RS company in the industry for the traditional metal products manufacturing industry, the main overseas markets for the Japanese market, the European market and the North American market. After the global economic crisis broke out in 2009, RS was dragged down by the overseas market economy, and its business growth stalled, and the problems caused by the severe changes in the external environment were placed in front of the decision makers of RS company. RS company through the re construction of company’s value chain, pioneering new value space and so on various measures to actively respond to the crisis facing the change, this paper discusses the theoretical basis and realistic foundation of RS company’s strategy to develop, at the same time, the implementation of the strategic effect evaluation.
