Design And Implementation Of Public Service Platform For Multi-media Teaching Resources

Many universities have been working at establishing their own platform of"information-based learning resources"to meet the after-class needs of students. Through placing a variety of teaching resources on the campus network and integrating them scientifically, they try to build a comprehensive, multi-level and interactive network teaching platform under unified user management, resource management as well as access control; Furthermore, to build the school into a virtual university regardless of time and space so as to enhance the management efficiency of traditional universities. It is not only campus-oriented but also socially oriented. Based on the digital campus network, the sharing of teaching resources shall be realized ultimately.In this thesis, the platform of"multi-media teaching resources in public service"came into being. In view of the need to establish this kind of platform for Nan Chang Campus of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, this thesis mainly explores its design and implementation based on an overview of overall solution. On the basis of the campus network, the platform of multi-media teaching resources in public service shall be developed in a C/S pattern, using Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft SQL Server to give full play to the user's processing power. With high security and quick response, this platform is suitable to be used in school network. This thesis also introduces the structure, module composition of this platform as well as the ideas to design the core modules such as database management, resource management and user management.
