Now, coming out a series of advanced new technologies and methods aiming at locating and tracing the moving targets along with the developing of electronic technology. The RFID being used in varies applications widely which related to object identification owing to its wieldy and automatism.Based on analyzing the technologies associated with the RFID and application system's characters, point to the subject which applying RFID to tracing moving target, this thesis study the necessary and feasibility on conjunction with RFID's automatic identification and the technology of locating and tracing, and a new opening application system architecture has been presented in this thesis. According to the new architecture and the network system, build the tracing system for moving object using RFID, and it will provide the references for achieving actual system and other application on RFID.The thesis consists of the following apartments: 1. RFID introduction. Describing the basis theories and the progress of RFID by introducing its development course. Preparing the elementary knowledge that will be used later. 2. Introducing the principles of basis components that make up of the system. It will be guidelines for system architecture design. 3. The architecture design of the application system. By analyzed the requirements and the specialties of the application models aiming at personnel tracing and vehicle tracing, and the limitation in tradition automatic identification and locating, illustrate the necessary of constructing the tracing system using RFID aiming at moving object, and finally design a new application system architecture in the end. 4. According to the new architecture and the model of network system, designed all hardware and software apartments in the application system,and achieved the goal system.
