With the development of infomationization construction in the railway marshalling yard, the real-time tracking and locating for marshalling yard shunting locomotive does not only provide support for dispatch decision management of marshalling yard, but also offers safe protection information for construction stuffs in the field, at the same time, it improves the reaction of shunting to the unforeseeable circumstance, greatly strengthen the level of shunting automatically, break-up and make-up ability in the marshalling yard, can strongly assure safety of marshalling yard shunting transportation. It is very significant for railway transport. However, the existing semi-automatic marshalling yard can only estimate the approximate location of shunting locomotive depending on track circuits and the available automatic marshalling yard merely tracking the position of shunting locomotive through shunting route and operation feedback of single vehicle running schedules, these can not do the real-time tracking and precise positioning.The paper puts forward one type of shunting tracking and locating system based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and Difference Global Position System (DGPS), which is used to real-time, accurately and efficiently confirm the precise position and running track of the shunting locomotive on the railway, and display the position and track on the comprehensive station map through the railway Geographic Information System (GIS), and supply data scheduling support for marshalling yard dispatch system. In the paper, the Ultra High Frequency band of RFID system is used, which adopts railway special RFID wireless identification reader, is enable to identify objects in the scope of 6 meters, has higher reliability, lower misreading rate nearly zero, therefore, it can meet the requirement of fixing the reader on the tracks and trains in the railway, fit the complex ambience of marshalling yard. The running principle is that place fixed the passive electronics tag on the ties at two intervals, install the tag reader and communication devices in the locomotive, and connect to the vital computer. When the trains pass the electronic tag, the tag reader in the vehicles reads the data of precise position information which is stored in the tag, so as to achieve accurately positioning. In addition to using RFID modules to get current location information,the system design deploys General Packet Radio Service (GPRS)communication modules in order to real-time collect and send required information, realize the real-time communication with the information processor of marshalling yard station, and then achieve precious positioning. The system uses the embedded processor calls ARM9 as the vehicles information control and processor devices to control the operation of each module. When the RFID device is failure, DGPS alternative is started using, which use DGPS with track circuit and GIS to attain tracking and positioning. In this paper, it makes a construction and type selection direct to system hardware, and appropriate improve for software algorithms, depend on RFID technology and DGPS technology, to make the system more suitable for the application of the railway marshalling yard. The system achieves shunting locomotives marshalling yard tracking and positioning according to coordinate information change of shunting locomotive and the matching processing with GIS implementation (RFID technical accuracy of lm, DGPS technical accuracy of 3m), this is different from the old system that the dispatcher only knows the generally position of the shunting locomotive on track circuits. Though the simulation test, the station of shunting can continuously display on the station diagram, therefore, the system has a good driver-machine interface and a certain practical value. |
