Along with the advance of social economy and science and technology, the monitor users have different visual demands on shared data and confidential data. Monitors with single view angle mode can no longer meet the users' requirements. Monitors with changeable capability of between broad and narrow view angle has been considered as a best solution. When users need to share data, turn on broad view angle mode; or switch to the narrow view mode when data displayed needs to be protected. View Angle Changeable Display is a new display could automatically be converted between the wide and narrow view mode at any time.This dissertation discussed mainly about view angle changeable liquid crystal display technology. And research on view angle changeable technology based on liquid crystal features. The research of the article is focused on adding view angle changeable Equipment between backlight and monitor, in order to developing view angle changeable display. The study is mainly aiming at the device's display properties which could use voltage switch the view angle mode basing on Liquid crystal electro-optical properties.This dissertation first introduced the angle controllable liquid crystal displays basic concepts and methods of work, then had a brief introduction on several currently available view angle changeable technologies. The dissertation had proposed two view angle changeable methods ----directly utilizing Gust-Host liquid crystal dichroic theory and the filtering feature of the double liquid crystal optical grating. Both of the two methods utilized photo switch feature developed by Gust-Host liquid crystal and TNT liquid crystal in electric field. First make the utilization of the Gust-Host liquid crystal dichroic's light absorption feature change the state of the incident light vector to realize view angle changeability. Secondly, combine Gust-Host liquid crystal dichroic theory with TNT liquid crystal's photo switch feature to design a liquid crystal display that is capable of forming analogous BW optical grating when adding a specific voltage. Utilizing double liquid crystal optical grating's alignment switch features to diffused light to realize the switch to backlight diffusion and alignment, finally get the electronically controlled automatic view angle display. This dissertation discusses two methods to theoretical model and implementation method, followed by its production process, finally the actual production can be achieved out of view angle controllable display. The feasibility of view angle controllable display was verified by experimental test and theoretical analysis.At last, on the basis of view angle changeable display with optical grating structure, the dissertation proposed incorporating view angle changeable and 3D display technology to form a new display technology and studied its fundamental operation.In this dissertation, based on the special optical properties of liquid crystal, two methods of fabricating view angle controllable display were proposed. Excellent display effect was obtained, and the implementation idea was not been reported so far.
