| The measurement of flat panel TV has been more and more important along with the stepwise rise and development of flat panel TV. Because the display principle and photo-electricity character of flat panel TV is very different from CRT TV, the measurement and evaluating of flat panel TV is more complex than CRT TV. So the ministry of information and industry presented out the standard about flat panel TV in 2006. And the standard explains all kinds of guide line on evaluating flat panel TV and how to measure it. Because all these measurements are hard to do by human, so to develop a new measuring system to evaluate the quality of flat panel TV is a significant work for industry manufacture.Based on the theory of color measurement and hard study of method on measurement for flat display TV, the scheme of integrative measuring system is presented out combine with computer technology. After that we start to design this system, including mechanism design, hardware and circuit design, software developing and so on.The hardware of this system consists of two parts. One is mechanism design, the other is circuit design. In mechanism design, we firstly analyzed the mechanics on all parts of the machine, and then chose the appropriate material and accessory. After that we used AutoCAD to make the drawing. For Circuit design, single chip AT89C2051 was adopted to be the controller for MCU module. Beside this, drive circuit for step-by-step motor and the photoelectric sensor were designed. At the same time, MCU could receive the command from PC via UART.The software for this system is comprised by MCU program and PC program. MCU program is divided into several pieces by function, such as step-by-step motor control program, data acquisition program, serial communication program. PC program is designed through modularization method. It includes parameter setting module, calculation module, showing and save module, communication module and so on. Through the RS-232 bus, PC can control the whole measurement and read out the data from color meter.After all the design was completed, we used the system to make experiments and do measurements on flat panel TV sample. The result shows that this system is excellent at stability, veracity, and has fast speed. Finally, all the work is summarized and then the existing deficiencies and possible improvements are prospected. |
