Wearable computing is a kind of new computing model and it is different from the traditional desktop and mobile computing models in terms of computing concept, interactive model, human-computer relations, function and usage. It emphasizes the concept of"people-oriented, human-computer integration", and can help to enhance people's perception of the outside world and assist in people's behavior based on its computer systems.In recent years, with the development and advancement of the IC technology, wireless communication technology, sensor technology and materials science, wearable computer have developed rapidly in the research and application of industry, medicine, national defense safety and other fields, and related products have entered into a stage of seriation and practicability. In these research and applications, context-aware has aroused wide concern. However, there are still many difficulties and challenges and lack of related key technical support, which is mainly manifested in the inadequacy and disunity of infrastructure providing context information, lack of unified and effective semantic description means and lack of mechanisms of distributed use, storage, evolution, reasoning, providing no support for quickly building context-aware applications.In the light of above, this thesis puts forward the Aware Workshop Context-Aware Application Model (AWCAAM) based on the application of wearable computer in industrial workshop and the Aware Workshop (AW) concept which is proposed in previous related research. This thesis does research on the key technologies for context-aware. Major content are as follows:1) The context information in workshop was analyzed in depth, summarized its characteristics, determined definition and classification, built a domain ontology model of aware workshop and also used RDF/RDFS and OWL to describe and express the context information.2) Comprehensive application of special wearable computer system, WLAN, WSN and WPAN, a specific experimental environment of aware workshop was built, which can provide the essential physical basis for context information.3) AWCAAM was designed and implemented with the ideals of service-oriented and hierarchy and it consists of context sensing layer, context service layer and context application layer which can complete the functions such as sensing, collection, distributed use, storage, evolution, reasoning and so on. Among which, context service layer was focused on, mainly including basic platform awOSGi, the context providers which provide publish/subscribe and request/response service interfaces, context inference engine awReasoner, context database awDatabase and service manager. Besides, design, implementation, testing and assessment were carried out for them respectively.4) The location context service in AWCAAM was designed, implemented and carried out testing and contrastive analysis, which based on the experimental environment of aware workshop and by using WiFi location-based principle, it presented the whole implementation process of AWCAAM context provider and provided reference for implementation of other context services.The AWCAAM mentioned in this thesis can solve the key technical issues of applying wearable computing in context-aware applications for industrial workshop, and provide powerful support, a practical method and reference program for quick building of context-aware application in workshop.
