In the last century, the early 90s, Mark Weiser proposed the concept of pervasive computing. Pervasive computing as a new computing model after mainframe computing and desktop computing, is gaining more and more attention. Pervasive computing emphasizes a non-visible, ubiquitous computing. In essence, this is a new interaction model of people and information space. The establishment of the physical space and information space interaction interface and access to context information in order to achieve context-aware computing (CAC) are two cores of pervasive computing. The emergence of CAC environment makes context based human-computer interaction (HCI) possible. From the perspective of HCI, CAC is embodied in a kind of "implicit" interactive model which is the future of computing model development. The main problems faced CAC is the lack of a unified, general support for CAC system framework. This article analyzes context-aware computing frameworks, and proposed a smart space oriented context-aware system called S2CAS in order to provide an idea to handle contextual information processing and services. In the S2CAS on the basis, we designed and implemented ThinkMeeting prototype system. We have established multi-modal sensors, embedded in a variety of information equipment and a variety of wireless network coverage of the smart meeting room environment. In this particular scenario, we describe and verify that S2CAS workflow. The ThinkMeeting prototype system combines a variety of sensors, wireless networks, databases, and control services technology. System uses ontology modeling, specification of context information, design of context event handling process, and the establishment of several types of contextual rules to deal with context-aware services.
